River Terrace Estates is located on 60 scenic, wooded acres in a beautiful setting graciously donated more than a decade ago by the late Dr. Charles Caylor and Mr. Ware Baker for the purpose of creating a not-for-profit retirement community for Bluffton and all areas surrounding Wells County. With our opening in 2003, their vision became a reality. We offer independent living and a full continuum of care, including assisted living, memory care, short-term care and rehab, and skilled nursing.
Today, our dedicated board of directors is committed to maintaining River Terrace Estates' position as the area's best, most affordable retirement community in Bluffton and Wells County. Our board of directors includes health care executives, a physician and business executives who bring a vast amount of expertise in the senior living industry. The board carries out our established traditions, always remaining true to River Terrace Estates' founding mission.
